This seems to be related to saving in reaper. A project with revalver takes a long time to save, about exactly as long as opening the revalver GUI Every so often (equal to the time set in your autosave time preferences/project) revalver freezes reaper for the amount of time it takes to load its gui (even though you arent loading the gui) Both issues go away if you globally chose "disable saving full plugin state" in preferences. Of course, this makes everything else pretty hard to use so its not a solution
Could you post a very small project that demonstrates the problem, or give instructions for how you have revalver set up? I don't see any delay just playing with the plugin, so it may depend on the particular plugin settings.

It don't get any sort of delay on an i7 here. It seems unlikely that the CPU type is the issue though. It's more likely that REAPER is configured differently on those machines. Are you loading a default project, or perhaps is the default save path to a network or removable (ie. slow) disk?
Checking an issue with another plugin, apparently I need to disable hardware acceleration (or perhaps enable it?) the option is grayed out on my pc with an nvidia card...looking for the solutions, perhaps this is related

What's your auto-save settings? Mine were every minute and this was the 'cause/issue'. I just don't use revalver anymore. Especially after discovering (via this forum) Scuffham Amps. :)
